Life Since We Came Back

Life has been pretty good for us so far living in Taiwan. As you know, Adam is now working for the Kansas City Royals as a baseball scout. He has had to travel quite often to south to watch a lot of baseball games the first couple of weeks after we came back. The first week was probably a bit difficult for him since we were still pretty exhausted from our long trip and trying to recover from the jet lag. There were two nights(actually two separate nights...hee) that Adam had to stay at a hotel in Chiayi. Rainny and I really missed him a lot even if he was only away for one day. (Well, Adam and I have never spent more than one day apart since we got married :p) But we also get to spend lots of lots of time together when he doesn't need to be on the road. We feel so blessed that Adam has this great opportunity to do something he loves so much!!! : )

One of the reasons why we've been slow on updating our blogs is that Rainny wants to share the computer with us now...hahaha. We don't really get to use computer that much anymore when she's awake because if she sees one of us using it, she wants to use it,too. She loves watching the videos on our computer, especially the ones of Grandpa Hislop playing with her and the Salt Lake Bees game we recorded. Adam even taught her to press the space on the keyboard when it stops playing. Now she can just sit in front of the computer and watch these videos over and over again! Like 20 times a day!!! ^0^

I finally decided to get a bob haircut!

What do we usually do when staying home? Taking Rainny swimming!!!

The weather is so hot and humid!!! Swimming is probably the coolest way to beat the summer heat, and nothing gets better than swimming in your own pool...it's free!!!

Rainny finally gets to wear her little bikini! Whenever she wants to go swimming, she'd say "nia-ma"(it doesn't even sound like swimming at all,but that's what she means...so funny...hahaha) Adam's been trying to teach her to hold her breath when going under the water, but we haven't had much success so far because she still likes to open her mouth.

Adam bought her this kid-sized Royals t-shirt from a store near by the baseball stadium he went to. Still too big for Rainny right now, but perfect for pajamas...hee! She looks so much like Adam in the picture above!!!
