America! Here I come!!!

This pic was actually taken in 2005 when flying over the pacific ocean from LA to Taiwan.

It's past midnight and I'm still awake while Adam and Rainny are so sound asleep right now. Well, I thought I could write a post before we leave for the U.S on Monday since I will probably be busy doing the last-minute packing tomorrow...I'm way behind...haha

We've been pretty busy this week and finally were able to get some final shopping done today. We went to Jasons Marketplace to get some snacks and Rainny's baby food to bring on the plane. They've got a lot of cool international stuff there. They've also got those super cute mini shopping carts especially designed for little kids so they can enjoy the fun of shopping too...maybe???!!! Hahaha...I know Rainny really enjoys and loves pushing that mini shopping cart whenever we go there.

Packing hasn't always been an easy thing for me, and now that we have Rainny, not only do I need to pack for my stuff, but also I need to pack for Rainny's,too. How much I wish I had a "Packing for Dummies" right now (that would really save me a lot from all the hassle of packing) if there was really such book....hahaha... : p

Rainny on the March cover of bobo magazine

Okay, this isn't the first time that Rainny appears in a magazine. Last October, Rainny had her very first magazine photo shoot and got more than 7 spreads in the November issue of Baby & Mother Magazine when she was 6-month-old. A couple of months later, she had a second photo shoot for another magazine called bobo Magazine just few weeks before she turned 1. And this time she was on the COVER!

We did get paid a little bit for this photo shoot (US$50 not a lot I know...probably enough to buy toys and diapers that kind of stuff for Rainny.Ha!) They gave us some free pic CD and magazines,too. But hey! Seeing your own precious child on the cover of a baby magazine is PRICELESS!!! Right?

It's very interesting and funny to see Rainny's magazine on the shelf in the baby section in every bookstore Adam and I went to. And it also turns out to be a pretty awesome birthday gift for Rainny! Hahaha... : )

Little mischief!
I love Rainny's facial expression in this one. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.
I made that pink teddy bear hair bow for Rainny a while ago,but she's never had a chance to wear it. Putting that stuff on Rainny took quite some time because Rainny didn't have a lot of hair and she would try to take it off. So in order to keep the hair bow staying on her hair, the hair stylist had to use some bobby pins to secure it. Finally, the pink hair bow was able to make its first debut in this cover photo shoot...haha! And it coincidentally matches the little pink polka dot dress they prepared for Rainny. Funny huh? : )
